Your Speakers

Dr Peers Davies VetMB, PhD, MRCVS

Peers is Reader in Livestock Health & Welfare at University of Liverpool Vet School.

His research interests include a wide range of production limiting infectious and non-infectious diseases of commercial sheep production.

As principal investigator he has led several projects in the UK, South America and New Zealand addressing topics of common concern such as paratuberculosis and antibiotic resistance.

Phillipa Page BVSc BSc MRCVS

Phillipa qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 2006 and is a sheep veterinary specialist with Flock Health Ltd.

Her work combines flock health consultancy, farmer and veterinary training, research and industry collaboration.

She is sheep lead for NADIS, contributes to national animal health initiatives and publications, and is President of the Sheep Veterinary Society.
