Each practice complements the others and lead us into a conducive state of readiness, receptivity and stillness from which we can begin to look out at the world from the perspective of unity consciousness.
Living from a state of connection to our deepest Self can help us to think, feel, speak and act in more skilful ways.
Individually, we can learn to trust our innate wisdom to overcome patterns of behaviour that no longer serve us. This can help improve our relationships with family, friends, co-workers and ripple out to our communities and the wider world around us.
In this 4 part video series, Mike introduces the Heart of Presence Practice and guides us through 4 simple meditations on Silence, Space, Stillness and Awareness of Awareness. Follow along with the practices every day or once a week to deepen and strengthen the connection to your awakened heart.
Part 1 – Introduction & Silence Meditation
Mike introduces the teaching with a talk and then leads a guided practice: noticing silence & sounds.
Part 2 – Space and Objects Meditation
In Part 2, Mike introduces the concept of paying attention to empty space and to objects appearing in space, with guided meditation practice.
Part 3 – Stillness & Movement Meditation
In this video, Mike guides us in paying attention to inner and outer stillness and guides us to notice the still quality of silence and space and a guided meditation.
Part 4 – Awareness of Awareness Meditation
Finally, we begin to pay attention to our own capacity to be aware and notice how many qualities our awareness shares with the Silence, Space and Stillness all around us.
