Welcome to the LAB School. We're glad you're here. These Terms of Service explain the rules and expectations for using our platform and services. We've written them in plain English because we believe in clear, straightforward and transparent communication—just like the way we teach.

By signing up for a subscription or accessing our content, you agree to everything outlined below. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

The LAB School is a joint venture between Make Happy Ventures Ltd (based in England) and Cedarcroft Advisors LLC (based in Maryland, USA). We offer online courses and live experiences in Creative Problem Solving (CPS), facilitation, and innovation.

2. Who Can Join

You must be 18 years or older to register. By joining, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you’ll use the platform in line with these terms.

3. What You Get

When you subscribe to the LAB School, you’ll receive:

Access to video-based training courses and downloadable materials
Community meet-ups, networking opportunities, and open office sessions
Opportunities for live coaching and training
A certificate of completion for eligible courses
Your subscription is either monthly or annual, depending on your choice when signing up. Your access continues as long as your subscription remains active.

4. No Refunds

We do not offer refunds for subscriptions, including partial refunds if you cancel before the end of your billing cycle. Please review your subscription choice carefully before purchasing.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the materials for personal or team development only
Not share your login or course content with others
Respect the community guidelines during live sessions and discussions

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access for behaviour that goes against these responsibilities.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the LAB School – videos, handouts, course structure, and branding – is owned by Make Happy Ventures and Cedarcroft Advisors. You’re welcome to learn from it, but you can’t copy, resell or distribute it without permission.

7. Coaching and Live Sessions

Some courses include or offer access to live coaching or training. We’ll do our best to run these on schedule, but we reserve the right to change dates or substitute facilitators. No refunds are given if you miss a live session.

8. Technology and Access

We work hard to keep the platform running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee that it will always be available without interruption. We’re not liable for any losses caused by downtime or technical issues.

9. Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Please read our Privacy and GDPR Policy below to understand how we collect, store and use your data.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the State of Maryland, depending on where you access the service. Any disputes will be handled in the relevant jurisdiction.

We may update these terms occasionally. We’ll let you know via the platform or email when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
