I am a university lecturer within the broad area of sport, health and exercise sciences. I have always been involved in sport, but I had never done any formal strength training. Working with James was great – he is very experienced and was able to draw on this to explain training techniques in a clear and simple manner. His approach was very supportive, while also challenging, to enable continued progression. I would highly recommend James to individuals at all levels.

I have been training with James for nearly a year. Prior to working with James I really struggled to find the motivation to hit my weight and fitness goals, and really disliked public gyms. James personal approach has been invaluable, I look forward to our sessions which are totally tailored me and my goals and he is always on hand to give advice. James is an amazing personal trainer. He is a very good communicator and adjusts his style and routines to match with my needs. We started few months ago and have already seen fantastic results. I love the privacy of his loft and the location close to Shoreditch is really convenient for me as I am working from Bank. I highly recommend James for anyone looking to get in shape!

James came through recommendation and has been fantastic at helping me achieve my goals. I wanted to build strength for climbing and bouldering and James designed a program to help me with this. He clearly and simply explains how to perform the movements and exercises and how they will benefit me whilst climbing. I have learned so much that I now feel competent to train on my own knowing that I’m doing things correctly. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I’ve been strength and conditioning training with James for twice a week for over 2 years and have made fantastic progress! My program is progressive and varied and is tailored to me, so is relevant to my other sporting pursuits. James is professional and patient and pushes me to the limit, explaining clearly any adjustments I need to make to my technique.
