Holbrook Creek is a very secluded section of sea wall around the natural bay facing towards the opposite side of the River Stour (Wrabness beach). Despite its natural isolation, there's a nearby car park with separate information signs about the Stour Estuary, & amateur sailor, the author, Arthur Ransome. Holbrook Creek is where locals moar their boats in a tiny sheltered bay, surrounded by sheep pastures. The Holbrook Royal Hospital School is only a mile away & can not only be seen from here...

A lovely place to visit very few people about and stunning views across the estuary, there are rock pools and shells abound, great fun for small children to explore There are some great little pubs near by, a truly peaceful few hours can be spent here

Such a beautiful, natural stretch of sand, the combination of unspoilt countryside and the estuary is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. The estuary is tidal, so being able to enjoy the beach and water depends on that. However the creek with its little boats and jetty makes for a peaceful place to sit and enjoy. Its been a beautiful discovery for my family ☺️
