The course takes place at the Sustainable Home Centre in Poole. It is a mix of primarily classroom training and some hands-on time with the equipment. It runs for 1 day, starting at 0900 and finishing at 17:30.
It is suitable for electricians, plumbers, refrigeration engineers and heating engineers.
There are no formal qualification requirements for attendance except for the online course mentioned below.

PLEASE NOTE: The DUK-H1 on-line Altherma product introduction course must have been successfully completed prior to attending this course. A link to the Daikin online training academy is below. It requires a couple of hours online and can be done at any time in advance of the main course. It is necessary before the formal Daikin training certificate can be issued.
There is a short exam at the end of the in-person course which must be passed in order to gain formal Daikin certification.

Yes, there are some allocated parking spaces outside the Sustainable Home Centre or roadside parking within 100 meters.
Yes, Daikin courses include morning and afternoon drinks and snacks and a lunch. For anyone with specific dietary requirements, please contact us at least a week before the course so we can make sure we can cater for you.
There is free wifi accessible to all attendees for the duration of the course. A code is provided on request.
Unless stated otherwise in the course details, the training starts at 0900 and finishes at 16:30.
No. We will provide pens and paper. You will be given course notes electronically. There are no specific PPE requirements.
Yes, we require a minimum of 4 attendees. If that number is not reached by the week before the course, we will give you the option to transfer to the next available course or have a full refund.
