Amazing place and friendly people! The coaches are incredible and really encourage you to push yourself. I wish I took up BJJ years ago.

Amazing facility conveniently located in the centre of South Gloucestershire in the town of Yate. Loads of parking, and the facility sets it self apart from any of the other martial art facilities in the local area. Large number of high level instructors on the mats on a daily basis, with classes for all ages and abilities. The team is amazingly welcoming, and is perfect for beginners or seasoned grapplers. A great school with fantastic coaching staff! I started at the school when it first opened and have seen it grow quickly over the last few years. The members at GBY make every session enjoyable creating a great atmosphere for both adults and kids. Highly recommend!

A great place to train, coaches and students are all very welcoming and friendly. As someone with a no sports/martial arts background, I was encouraged to keep training here and made to feel part of the group as soon as I started! Would highly recommend for anyone in the Yate/South Glos area.

I’ve trained at Gracie Barra Yate since the beginning. I’ve since been lucky enough to train at different schools all over the world and I can honestly say that none of them can match the atmosphere at GB Yate. Such a great place to train.
