Throughout the VOD coaching process your coach will ask questions to help you identify your goals. Your coach may recommend tools and techniques you can use, however you are not obliged to use them. All choices and decisions are made by you. Your coach cannot accept responsibility for any of your actions, you are responsible for the decisions you make.

This VOD Course is not recommended for people who have or are currently experiencing mental illness, mental unwellness, trauma, addiction or sustance abuse. For more details please see below.

The course will be paid via the Cademy Page and is subject to their payment terms and conditions.

If you have any concerns please contact Cademy or Dovestone Coaching. All attempts will be made to resolve the issue quickly and to all parties satisfaction. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a good internet for the course videos.

Please Note: Before Coaching can commence you will be sent a Coaching Aggreement via email. This Coaching Aggreement will need to be signed and returned to Dovestone Coaching. What to expect from your coach.

Your coach will always act in your best interest.

Throughout the coaching process your coach will ask questions to help you identify your goals. Your coach may recommend tools and techniques you can use, however you are not obliged to use them. Your coach will help you to accept responsibility for your actions. All choices and decisions are made by you. Your coach cannot accept responsibility for any of your actions, you are responsible for the decisions you make.

Your coach may have to interrupt you at times. This is not to disrespect you, it is to bring the coaching sessions back on track ensuring that you are concentrating on the goals which you have set.

Your coach will respect you at all times and any decisions you make. Your coach will be non-judgemental, honest and truthful. Dovestone Coaching does not discriminate on the grounds of gender, sex, mental health, religion or race.

Confidentiality

All information is completely confidential and will not be shared. Dovestone Coaching has a duty of care to you and others and will not tolerate any illegal or immoral behaviour. Your coach may break the confidentiality agreement if they feel you are a danger to yourself or others, or if your behaviour is illegal.

If you would prefer not to be contacted by your coach in certain ways, due to confidentiality reasons, then please inform them of this.

If you have OCD with harm intrusive thoughts your coach is aware of the type of intrusive thoughts you experience in relation to yourself and others. Your coach will only break the confidentiality agreement if they feel that you are an actual risk to yourself and not a self-perceived risk due to OCD intrusive thoughts. Your coach will not offer you reassurance in relation to harming yourself or others as this could be detrimental to your OCD recovery.

Cancellation Policy

Your coach will give you 24 hours notice if they need to cancel a session, unless unforeseen circumstances occur.

Dovestone Coaching will contact you via your preferred contact method to book, cancel or discuss sessions, if you would rather not be contacted by this method please tell your coach.

You must provide 24 hours notice to cancel a session either by text or e-mail. Repeated missed sessions may lead to cancellation of the client/coach agreement.

Fees and Payment

The course will be paid via the Cademy Page in advance unless a previous agreement has been made with your coach. Coaching will only commence when payment has been received.

Your coach can cancel your agreement at any time and without notice if you display inappropriate behaviour. This behaviour may include inappropriate language, actions or gestures or if the coach is made to feel uncomfortable. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Dovestone Coaching. Only unused sessions will be refunded.

Phone, Zoom, Skype, Facetime etc. Coaching.

For online coaching your coach will send you a meeting invite by email on the day of your scheduled session. If you would prefer to use Skype or Facetime please let your coach know before your first session. For telephone session it is the responsibility of the client to contact the coach at the agreed time to start the session. The client is responsible for any phone charges for the session.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have a good internet connection for internet calls. In the event of internet connection being poor we may have to change the sessions to telephone.

Complaints.

If you have any concerns please let your coach know as soon as possible. All attempts will be made to resolve the issue quickly and to both parties satisfaction.

What your coach expects from you.

You need to come to the session ready and willing to set goals and take action. You will be honest and truthful so your coach can assess your needs accurately.

You will need to be in an environment that is calm and free from distraction. Your coach may ask you to turn off your phone or laptop if they feel it is distracting you.

Your coach expects you to be on time for your sessions, if you are late you will still finish at the agreed time.

Physical and Mental illness

You need to tell your coach if you have a physical disability that may affect your ability to attend or fully take part in sessions. Dovestone Coaching will make accommodations, where possible, to allow anyone with a disability to fully take part in sessions.

You have a duty to tell your coach if you suffer or have suffered from any mental disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders or other conditions which may affect you mentally, emotionally or could change your behaviour. Full details of any mental disorders must be disclosed to your coach before your sessions begin. This does not necessary mean you cannot work with the coach.

Your coach may request to contact your carer, doctor or therapist if they feel it is necessary, this will only be done with your consent. If you refuse your consent then the coach will not contact any of these health professionals, however sessions may not be able to go ahead. If at any time the coach feels you may need the expertise of a mental health professional they will help you to find this help. In this case completed sessions will need to be paid for, any sessions paid for but not completed will be refunded.

If you fail to disclose history of a mental illness your coach may end the coaching agreement if they feel it is necessary.

Coaching is not intended as a replacement for counselling or therapy. If coaching is not appropriate, then the coach will assist you in deciding your best course of action in relation to seeking the appropriate intervention.

Addictions or substance abuse.

Any past or current addictions or substance abuse must be reported to your coach. Failure to disclose this may result in the coaching agreement being cancelled. If your coach decides not to work with you, in regards to an addiction, they will make every attempt to help you find alternative assistance. All sessions completed must be paid for.
