We are a family friendly club and we welcome all visitors. If you’d like to come and have a look around we are open 10am – 3pm weekends. Training: Training Courses are run every year to the RYA start sailing schemes for Adults and Juniors Start Racing and Spinnaker training also given Powerboat and Safety boat training provided at reduced cost to facilitate club rescue duties Post course training with continued use of club boats and instructor coaching SUP introductory lessons and use of the lake at weekends for recreational paddling Training boats and buoyancy aids are provided Club membership is required to join a training course Racing: Pursuit and Handicap races on Saturdays and Sundays and, during the summer, a Thursday evening Based at a Severn Trent owned reservoir covering just over 100 acres, surrounded by trees that are set well back from the water giving mostly clear sailing winds, it provides the perfect safe teaching environment for all. We offer taster sessions after racing over the weekends, as well as additional training for those who have already completed their RYA Level 1 or Level 2 courses.
