Your expert trainer has over 25 years’ experience writing in the Energy industry, while his corporate training experience extends to almost 35 years. Based in Malaysia since 1992, he has conducted over 400 training programmes across Asia, Europe, Australia, and the USA. Major organisations that have benefitted from his training include:

Since 2016, he has conducted many courses for BSEE, the US government agency overseeing their energy industry. The courses cover a wide variety of technical writing and presentation skills topics including writing SOPs, presenting data, summarising reports in PowerPoint, and editing skills.

As a technical writer, he has been the lead editor for many important writing projects. The include full sets of manuals for Nippon Oil’s Helang Integrated Platform (Sarawak) and the PETRONAS Procedures and Guidelines for Upstream Activities. He has overseen the rewriting of HSE SOPs for KPOC, Talisman/REPSOL, and EnQuest, amongst others. He has also written and produced close out reports (REPSOL) and technical guidelines (PETRONAS).
