Methods and procedures will be presented to guide the participants in decision making with regards to completing a well with optimum control of formation sand while incurring minimal damage to the well or production zone. Extensive theory will be presented illustrating why certain practices should either be employed or strictly avoided. The very latest in the use of forecasting methods, tools, techniques, and personal experiences will be presented.

With 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Your Expert Course Instructor brings extensive expertise in petroleum engineering and geophysics. He holds a first-class degree in geophysics and a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering. he began his career at BP, working as a petroleum engineer for 7 years. He then co-founded ICE Energy, providing completions and engineering consultancy and training for 6 years, before the company merged with TRACS International. At TRACS, Your Expert Course Instructor led integrated teams and developed and delivered training courses for clients worldwide. In the last 5 years, he has worked as an independent consultant, focusing on technical consulting and course instruction. Your Expert Course Instructor’s three decades in the oil and gas industry, advanced degrees, and background working for major companies as well as smaller firms make him a highly skilled petroleum engineering consultant and trainer.
