TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Absolute Perfection Wedding Consultancy Limited strives to deliver a first class training and education facility on all fronts. We respectfully draw your attention to the following terms and conditions.

1. The Contract

1.1

All applications must be confirmed by submitting payment by card, cheque or bank transfer. You will be required to complete an enrolment form

1.2

Upon receipt of payment and completed enrolment form the course materials will be dispatched in full via email in electronic format and our service to you will then commence. This will constitute a contractual agreement.

2. Cancellation

2.1

In the event of a cancellation by a student prior to submitting payment, no charges will be levied.

2.2

In line with the Distance Selling Regulations, on receipt of payment and completed enrolment form the course materials will be dispatched. Given the unique electronic format in which the course materials are delivered, no refunds are permitted under any circumstances; otherwise the whole system would be open to abuse.

3. The Course

3.1

Absolute Perfection reserves the right to alter the content, format and structure of the course without notice. Appropriate updates to the course will be sent to students via email.

3.2

Following a telephone, skype, live-chat or email request for help during office hours, your Tutor (or another suitable advisor) will often respond immediately whenever possible. Tutors aim to complete coursework marking, grading and assessments within 5-10 working days however please understand that it may take a little longer during peak season or busy periods. Simply continue working through the course completing the next unit/s whilst your tutor marks the work you have submitted.

3.3

The First Class Advanced course is designed to be completed within 9 months, the Advanced course in 6 months and the Short Couse in a couple of months. We do however appreciate each student’s circumstances differ and circumstances can change over time. It is therefore acceptable if you want to take longer.

Please note however that students are allocated a Tutor for a specific period of time. First Class Advanced course students benefit from 18 months of tutorial guidance and assistance. Advanced course students benefit from 12 months of tutorial guidance and assistance. And Short-course students benefit from 6 months of tutorial guidance and assistance. Students are expected to have submitted all their coursework within the allocated time-frame. If failing to do so, tutorial guidance may still be available but coursework assessments will cease after this period. Extensions are possible but chargeable with fees. See 4.1 below.

3.4

If you are struggling to hit coursework targets and complete the First Class training within the expected time-frame you may switch to the Advanced course. Please note that your grade and your certificate will reflect the change of course. For example, instead of a First Class Advanced Certification in Wedding Planning Design & Management you will receive an Advanced Certification in Wedding Planning Design & Management.

4. Additional Fees

4.1

If you have not completed the course within the allocated time-frame and want your work to be assessed, a tutorial extension fee will be applicable in order to cover tutorial extension fees and any future costs relating to increases in tutorial fees, increases in course fees or any other additional administrative costs we might subsequently incur. The total fee will be calculated at the time of request.

5. Qualification / Certification

5.1

On completion of the course you will receive an exclusive certificate to display in your office and a mini-web certificate to display on your website.

5.2

The grades attainable are PASS, MERIT or DISTINCTION in your chosen course. For example: First Class Advanced Certification in Wedding Planning Design & Management, grade Distinction

6. Partnerships, 2 or More Enrolling Together

6.1

Students enrolling together in partnership at the discounted partnership rate do so on the understanding that they will complete a single piece of coursework for each unit for grading and assessment together as one.

6.2

Partnership students will be allocated the same tutor who will guide and manage the students through the training. Tutors will respond to questions from both/all students.

6.3

Upon graduation, certificates will be issued to each student separately.

7. Liability

7.1

The information in the course is provided on an "as is" basis. We disclaim all warranties, either expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise. The course is provided for general guidance purposes only and is not an ultimate source of information, nor something which you should solely rely upon as a source for all things wedding related. In no event shall Absolute Perfection be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with your use of our course. Absolute Perfection takes no responsibility for the accuracy or validity of any claims or statements as outlined in the course materials. The course is provided without warranty of any kind.

8. Indemnity

8.1

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Absolute Perfection harmless from all liabilities, costs and expenses, including legal fees, related to any violation of this Agreement by you.

We are not responsible for the venues, suppliers, services, businesses, companies, individuals or resources external to ourselves and referred to within the context of the course or in tutorial guidance, comments or feedback, nor for any loss or damage caused by your use of their websites or services. Links or references to commercial bodies or websites do not imply endorsement of the goods or services they advertise.

9. Copyright

9.1

In using this course you agree not to duplicate our copyrighted material. Unauthorised duplication of our course materials is an infringement of copyright and will be strictly enforced by law.

10. Addendum

10.1

You agree to allow Absolute Perfection to refer relevant enquiries to your website, for instance to assist brides looking for a student or graduate planner. We may also promote any future wedding planning success that you have, for instance awards, notable clients/weddings or charitable work.

10.2

The course materials are the intellectual property of Absolute Perfection Wedding Consultancy Limited. Upon establishing yourself as a wedding planner in the UK or overseas you accept your responsibility not train, instruct, teach or educate other student wedding planners or those considering entering, or aspiring to enter, the wedding planning industry in the UK or overseas, for your own financial gain or profit using content from our training materials.

Our Commitment

Absolute Perfection Wedding Consultancy Limited (‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’) is committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal information that we process, and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection. We have always had a robust and effective data protection program in place which complies with existing law and abides by the data protection principles. However, we recognise our obligations in updating and expanding this program to meet the demands of the European Parliament’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK’s Data Protection Act, both of which come into force on 25 May 2018.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), agreed upon by the European Parliament and Council in April 2016, replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/ec as the primary law regulating how companies protect EU citizens' personal data.
