The course will give delegates the understanding of safety legislation and standards related to machinery (PUWER). Delegates will learn about the requirements of implementing Lock Out Tag Out safely to ensure personnel safety. 👉 Course Contents
Understand the legal and safety requirements and process of Lock Out Tag Out
Meet the requirements and process of Lock Out Tag Out
Know the responsibilities of those involved in the Lock Out Tag Out process and associated safety protocols
including Permit to Work (PTW)
Have a clear understanding of the main procedures, documents and processes required to implement Lock Out
Tag Out successfully and how and when to reinstate normal operating status
Be able to successfully and safety perform Lock Out Tag Out
Safety legislation and standards related to machinery (PUWER)
Energy source safety including secondary systems
Unexpected start up and the 'control' process flow of safety for operatives:
