Firmly rooted in the place and people of Knoydart on the north west coast of Scotland, Wood Knoydart is a sustainable wood product brand dedicated to making best use of local timber to inspire and create well designed, well made, well finished products. These beautifully branded and packaged homewares harness the natural character of wood and capture a little bit of Knoydart for you to enjoy. Wood Knoydart is a social enterprise and branch of Knoydart Forest Trust, the community woodland charity that manages woodland on the remote peninsula of Knoydart. Our woodland is a resource and catalyst in building the resilience of our community and, the local and global environment. The WK brand was launched in 2014 to use and showcase our local timber, to invest in local livelihoods and pay back into the regeneration of Knoydart’s woodlands as well as combating the world's climate crisis. The collective skills of our makers, Kristy, Johann & Lorna, result in the design and production of aesthetically pleasing, tactile and functional pieces. We are a tiny community but we have the potential to make a big difference, you can be part of the change by buying our products.
