02. First Aid Basic Life Support course (Includes Adult, Child, Infant CPR & Use of an Automated External Defibrillator) Our First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. First Aid teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies.Students who successfully complete this course will receive certifications for Basic Life Support and First Aid. 03. People Movers Moving & Handling (Manual handling) This is a detailed classroom based training to enable trainees gain understanding of the process of lifting and moving loads within the health and social care industry.It will help trainees to identify risks and determine the safest method of handling without injury, in line with approved code of practice, accepted lifting methods, current regulations and understand the consequences of poor moving and handling practice. This course is intended for those new to training manual handling, or those wishing to update their skills.
