Come along to our tomato open day, where we will have a garden tour and tasters, tomato seed saving demo, cookery demo, kids activities, tomato art, tomato throwing competition, a delicious supper (tickets to be purchased separately) and a bar and music.
There will be tours throughout the afternoon (starting at 2:30pm), plus a fantastic garden supper prepared by Chris Onions and his team from the Old Dairy Kitchen. Chris will also be serving cake and ice cream throughout the afternoon and will be selling some of his delicious seasonal preserves and other products.
We will be celebrating the diversity of the tomatoes that we grow at Trill Farm Garden, talking about some of the interesting varieties that are grown in the market garden and all about seed, but also just celebrating the market garden at this time of the year.
