For Tibetan Language teaching, the OCBS is pleased to endorse easytibetan.org. Presented by the allied CIC Tib-Shelf and Loplao, this is a unique chance to experience Tibetan culture through its language. They offer intensive courses in Tibetan Language together with evening classes focussing on Tibetan Buddhism, culture, and history. The courses are at two levels, elementary and lower intermediate. There are two long term winter classes: A beginner’s class which takes place on Sunday evening between 6 and 7:30 pm BTS, and an intermediate class that takes place on Wednesday evening between 7 and 8:30 pm BST. To read more about them, please click the link below. easytibetan.org MPhil In Buddhist Studies This two-year degree aims to give comprehensive training in one of the main Buddhist canonical languages, namely Sanskrit, Classical Tibetan and Classical Chinese. In-depth explorations of Buddhist history, philosophy, and literature will be the focus, along with a comprehensive study of important Buddhist texts in the original language.
