The Assessment Foundation

We're working with schools to connect every teacher to the things that each child knows, understands, and can do. Formative assessment is a tool that every teacher should have and should be able to apply to maximum effect. It can be their most powerful tool for helping every child reach their potential. ​ The Scottish and Welsh curriculums have taken a step away from using assessment as a summative tool and applying a best fit score to a child’s learning. Through collaboration with schools in the UK, we have designed a system that offers complete planning and assessment that can help track a child’s learning across the full curriculum from age 3-16.
