Collective Voice Edinburgh is a NEW series of monthly evening events hosted by Lynn Powell at The Arienas Collective in Edinburgh City Centre featuring open, honest, real life conversations with women who have found their creative freedom.
What it's about
Collaborating within a community of likeminded others/creative soulmate you can relate to.
Going beyond top tips to deeper conversations uncovered through sharing real world experiences.
Learning through listening to stories of real life ups and downs within a mutually supportive space.
Participating in a nurturing and non-judgemental community.
Collective therapy is about harnessing the power and passion of a likeminded creative network. It's about learning from real-life storytelling and opportunities for deeper, in-person conversations within a supportive and non-judgemental space. It's about moving offline to/ seeking offline answers from an in-person community. It's nurturing, and authentic.
It's for you if
You're interested in living an authentic life where what you think, say and do align.
You'd love to turn your creative passion into a career.
You already have a creative business but it's not where you'd like it to be.
You believe in the power of listening and learning from likeminded others.
You're ready to stop observing life and start participating in it.
Give to Gain: International Women's Day 2026
Our first evening event is on Thursday, 26 March - the month when we celebrate International Women’s Day. This year’s “Give to Gain’ theme works perfectly:
Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise. [IWD Theme 2026]
Our March guest
I’m delighted to announce the guest for our first-ever Collective Voice Edinburgh is Anna Campbell.
Some of you will know Anna as our silver clay jewellery tutor, but Anna has many more strings to her creative bow. She recently founded the Good Girl Rebellion, and became an international best seller with her book of the same name.
As a creative entrepreneur, Anna has helped build a seven-figure education business from the ground up, but her path into the creative life was neither linear, nor without its challenges.
Anna has navigated her way through the sudden death of her manager, divorce, financial instability and the pressure of being the main earner.
She has experienced huge business success, but also faced failure.
A self-confessed ‘good girl’ by nature, Anna has learned much about how her personality type impacted her working life, and has gone on to support other women to break free from their 'good girl’ conditioning to rewrite their relationship with money, and build businesses that are both profitable and - importantly - true to who they are.
Anna says it how it is. And I invite you to join us for a frank, open and honest conversation about creativity and financial independence; the actuality of building a creative business; and the emotional realities of freelance life.
And I’m hoping Anna will also share her top tips on the best hot tubs (another passion), and the truth about how many times she’s really seen Ludovico Einaudi play live!
Anna will also have a few copies of her book available to buy on the night.
What to bring
Just your lovely authentic self, a listening ear, plus a favourite notebook and pen in case you want to take notes or jot down questions. This is a tech-free event (phones can be kept on in silent mode for emergencies) and can therefore count as part of your 2026 digital detox.
Your ticket price includes a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles.
A note on timing
Door opens at 7pm when a complimentary glass of wine and non-alcoholic option will be served. This is a relaxed evening, but out of respect for our guest, please find your seat by 7.15pm to avoid interruptions once the discussion begins. The evening will end by 8.30pm.
Spaces are limited and seating is on our homely mix of sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and a more distant window seat, so arrive early to snap up your preferred place.
