Description

Ever wondered what all those switches and dials on your overlocker/serger do? Did you know that your machine is capable of so much more than just preventing fraying? It can create stretch seams and faux cover stitches and so much more!

We will help you to understand your machine and gain confidence in using it. We will teach you how to thread it from scratch. You will spend time playing with settings and tension. You will be encouraged to make mistakes on purpose - so that you can learn by your mistakes.

Spend the morning gaining confidence with your overlocker and then the afternoon making a simple t-shirt which can be constructed on your overlocker.

What you will learn/achieve
  • Confidence in threading your overlocker from scratch

  • You to make friends with your overlocker and leave feeling confident about what you can achieve with it

  • The afternoon will be spend making a simple T-shirt
