Join Claire at Stitching Kitchen for a four-hour session of learning to alter and refashion your least worn garments to bring them back to life.
Claire is passionate about supporting sustainable fashion & clothing. She believes that we should alter, repair & improve our existing wardrobe items (as well as buying second hand & vintage) instead of purchasing ‘throw away clothing’. This, in turn helps us create & re-invent one off garments that are unique just for us as individuals.
If you have items in your wardrobe that no longer suit your style or lifestyle, or if you'd like to learn how to professionally shorten, take in, or let out garments, join Claire for a half day of alterations. You'll have the opportunity to work at your own pace, gaining hands-on guidance from Claire.
