Welcome to Counselling Psychology Solutions. We bring together some of the most talented independent practitioners from across Berkshire. We allow you to choose from a level of support that you feel you require at any particular time. The role of the counsellor or life coach is not to ‘treat’ people or try to ‘heal’ them, but to encourage their curiosity about their own beliefs and motivations. We offer clients an invitation to step outside their life story long enough to see that it is only a story, and, of course, to appreciate that those stories can be re-written. Together we will create a space in which new possibilities will emerge. Counselling Psychology Solutions offers more than just psychological therapy. Simon Proudlock, Head of Practice and Director of Counselling Psychology Solutions is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and EMDR Europe Trainer, Consultant & Supervisor. He is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and in 2012 was awarded the Practice Prize for Distinction Contribution to Counselling Psychology from the British Psychology Society for his work in relation to Solution Focused Therapy, and in 2018 he was awarded the Practice Prize for Innovation.
