International aerospace, defence and security Beckton uses innovative technology to provide a real fire training experience in operationally challenging scenarios in the country’s only indoor carbonaceous fire house; seven interconnecting rooms which make up a three-storey training facility. The unique all-weather facility also houses a state-of-the-art Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) training rig and a multi-functional incident command suite, offering a secure, flexible environment for both single-use and multi-agency training scenarios with a blend of realistic and simulated training.
