My name is Cath. I am a fully qualified personal trainer and plant-based nutritionist. I proudly promote plant-based eating alongside specifically tailored resistance training to help people get fit, lean and healthy.
Having completed my dance training (23 years ago!) and acquired my teachers diploma, I set off to pursue a career as a professional dancer. I survived the wonderful world of showbiz for 8 years after which I hung up my dance shoes and got hitched. Two children later, and a slightly wider waist line, I was determined to get my figure and fitness back and so I joined the fitness industry. For 6 years I taught group exercise classes such as Zumba, PureStretch, Bootcamp, Body Conditioning and loved every minute.
During this time, about 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia which immediately set me on a new path of self awareness and clean living and resulted in 2 years of following a fully raw vegan lifestyle. My life started to get back on track again. I then qualified as a personal trainer which I used together with my knowledge of healthy eating for weight management. Since then I have developed and hosted numerous Eat To Live plant-based workshops informally and also in corporate settings which is where I have really found my true purpose. I currently run an online Plant Based 4 Weight Loss nutrition course and this September I launch my Plant-Based 4 Fitness subscription group. In the past year I have been interviewed twice for the Simply Vegan Podcast (see below) and written articles for Vegan Food and Living magazine. Since adopting a plant-based diet my life seems to have projected in a very different direction than I had ever expected! Not only have I met some truly amazing people who are really making a difference on this planet in terms of human health, animal welfare and environmental issues but I have had the opportunity to help others turn their own health around (as well as my own) which gives a great sense of job satisfaction!
I live and breathe the healthy lifestyle that I teach and implore every client and friend to do the same!
