About Pshe Association
PSHE education is the school curriculum subject dedicated to supporting children’s physical and mental health, relationships, careers and economic wellbeing. We’re a membership association and charity, supporting a national network of 50,000 teachers and schools to teach it well. We offer guidance, training, teaching resources and advice. Our mission is to raise the status, quality and impact of PSHE education so that all children and young people benefit. And we’ve enjoyed success in this area – our campaigning helped make Relationships Education, RSE and Health Education (RSHE) compulsory in September 2020. Our Subject Specialist team create all of our resources, training and guidance. This includes the Programme of Study for PSHE Education, which most schools use to structure PSHE education. Governing documents The PSHE Association (formally the PSHE Subject Association) was founded in 2006 and is a company limited by guarantee and a membership organisation.
