Join our qualified UK teachers for an engaging and immersive English experience this winter holiday, designed to enhance reading and writing skills for students learning English as a second language.
In this course, students will enhance their reading analysis, critical thinking, and foundational writing abilities. Through reading the beloved short story, The Giving Tree, by students will engage in a variety of activities that build both their comprehension and writing skills. By the end of the course, students will have read and discussed the story, learnt new vocabulary and created sequence sentences to tell their own version of the story.

Students aged 5-8 years old and/or working towards the Cambridge English A2 KET examinations
Non-native English speakers with a moderate proficiency in English

Pre-Class E-learning: Engaging videos and activities to be completed independently before each live session.
Live Sessions: 1.5-hour interactive classes daily with a highly experienced, qualified UK teacher.

A blended course combines the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of live, interactive lessons. Students participate in live classes with their teacher and peers while also completing self-paced assignments and activities independently. This approach provides a balance of structured instruction and independent study.
Our courses follow the British Curriculum for English reading and writing, providing a clear and structured progression. This approach ensures students build key skills systematically, supporting their academic growth and confidence in English.
Our course teachers hold degrees from prestigious British universities, along with Post Graduate Certificates in Education. With a minimum of 7 years of classroom experience, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support students at every level. Their extensive experience ensures high-quality, tailored instruction to help each student thrive.
1. Class Book: Purchase a copy of the class book. Please purchase Charlotte's Web - Puffin - Edition 2022 to ensure your child's copy is the right one.
2. Online Platform Access: We’ll provide login details for our online platform.
3. Printer: For printing the workbooks.
4. Device and Internet: A reliable laptop or computer with a strong internet connection.
If your child misses a class or session, they will have access to a recording of the lesson to ensure they don’t fall behind. Additionally, any class materials or assignments will be shared through our online platform, allowing them to catch up at their own pace. If further support is needed, our teachers are available to provide guidance.
We provide targeted support for students who are struggling by identifying their specific challenges through ongoing assessments. Our teachers adapt lessons to address individual needs. We encourage open communication, so students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help when needed.
You can support your child by providing a quiet study space, encouraging them to stay on top of assignments, and helping break tasks into smaller steps if needed. Regularly reviewing course materials and maintaining communication with their teacher will also help ensure they stay on track and receive the support they need.
We assess your child’s understanding continuously using formative assessments, such as quizzes, discussions, and written tasks. Each course follows a clear assessment matrix that aligns with the UK curriculum, allowing our teachers to track students' levels as they progress. You can find the assessment policy on Pages 3-5 of this document.
Yes, every course includes a final assessment. Students will complete a writing task in class, which is then submitted for evaluation at the end of the course. An online reading assessment will be completed on our platform to help determine their final grade. Once all assessments are complete, your child will be able to download a certificate of achievement!
