PATF’s solutions encompass micro and macro visions to transform and drive an Africa renaissance through technology and digitization. Blockchain is an especially important technology for PATF together with other technological solutions. PATF employs both a top-down strategy and a bottom-up approach in its activities. PATF’s goal is to present, inter alia, proposals to governments for adoption and implementation of technology sandboxes, legal and regulatory reforms and infrastructure. PATF’s bottom-up strategy involves programmes for educating and training Africa’s youth through quarterly bootcamps, an annual expo, webinars, virtual and face-to-face hackathons, and online masterclasses. PATF facilitates regional engagement, access to and interaction with international organisations, the private sector, civil society and the general public.
