NSS Academy of Civil Services (NACS)

Classrooms and Library NACS presents an enviably serene ambience for serious learning. Classrooms are well furnished and equipped with electronic gadgets, including LCD projectors and Wi-Fi connectivity, making it a veritable high- tech educational institution. It has a library stocked with the best and latest books and periodicals--a pointer to the sumptuous intellectual fare that awaits the new entrants into the Academy. The library remains open between 8 am and 8 pm on all days, except on designated holidays. (ii) Hostel Girls are provided accommodation at the Academy’s hostel, where, besides food and lodging, Wi-Fi facilities are also made available. Boys will be helped to find accommodation at various hostels in and around Kesavadasapuram. (iii) Faculty NACS is proud of its teaching faculty; they are easily the best in the field, most of them having decades of experience in handling the civil services examination subjects. Besides regular classes, there are also guest lectures by eminent men from various fields. Former Ambassador T. P. Sreenivasan, Hon. Director of NACS, supervises the academic activities of NACS and takes classes on International Relations. Weekly test papers, seminars, debates, discussions, etc form an integral part of NACS’ curriculum. Those who take admission here will find nothing wanting.
