About Nottingham Trade Union Education Centre
Whether you’re looking to progress in your current industry or want to try something new, building on your existing strengths with a free qualification can help you on the path to a better job. The government’s National Skills Fund programme has created new opportunities for adults who are unemployed, earn below the National Living Wage annually (£18,525), or do not already have a level 3 qualification. You must be aged 19 or over to access funded full-time learning. We are expecting the government to continue offering the National Skills Fund programme for eligible courses starting in September 2023, but we are still waiting for confirmation. We will update this page as soon as they issue a statement. Do you have a question about the National Skills Fund? Do you want to find out if you’re eligible? Maybe you want to learn more about the courses available? We’ve put together a guide on everything you need to know, including how to apply for a place on one of our funded courses.
