About North West Pain Centre
Dr Aseri has been working as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine and Clinical Lead for Acute Pain Services at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since February 2016. He obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training [CCT] in Anaesthetics in August 2015 from Health Education North West. Dr Aseri has completed Advanced Pain Training (APT) at one of the well renowned tertiary pain centres, The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool and obtained a Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA). Dr Aseri regularly participate in service development projects and clinical effectiveness meetings throughout his career. He recognises audit as a clinical governance tool that can change practice and improve clinical performance. Dr Aseri is a course director for a national study day “Joint Management of Joint Pain” which is approved by Royal College of Anaesthetists for CPD. Throughout my career I have been involved with undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching both on a formal and an informal basis.
