North West London Counselling & Training

NWLCT is a team of practitioners who have a passion for the difference counselling and listening can make in people’s lives. We have been involved in the CPCAB counselling progression since 2001 and have seen the profound difference these courses make, to the conversations we have with others and the listening spaces we can provide. We provide courses from CPCAB because they are the only awarding body in the UK that focuses purely on counselling courses, they are experts in the field of professional training and their progression gives candidates the practical skills and knowledge required to enter the workplace feeling confident and prepared. Our Director and Lead Tutor, Tracey Burke-Taylor has been practising as a counsellor since 2003, and has been accredited to BACP since 2009. She has delivered these courses within Adult Education, the Voluntary sector and in-house for businesses and the private sector. She has worked as a CEO and Clinical Lead in therapeutic organisations and has strong knowledge and experience of the operational realities of providing counselling and of the requirements for counsellors in training. She qualified via the vocational route with CPCAB. Tracey is passionate about the value of professional frameworks and we run a post-qualification programme to enable and encourage qualified practitioners to formally accredit.
