About North Berwick High School
Welcome to the North Berwick High School website. I am delighted to have taken up post as Head Teacher in August 2021 and hope the site gives you a flavour of our school, plus any information you require. I am very proud of the ethos of NBHS – as I speak to pupils and staff, they are quick to reflect on North Berwick as a happy school, where positive relationships are a priority. They speak of our values of curiosity, diligence, kindness and belonging which are core to the way we operate within our school community. It is important to me that each young person is valued individually and equally, and that we recognise that all pupils have different needs; we aim to support those needs through the provision of a wide variety of learning experiences for all our pupils. We want our teaching and learning to be the very best it can be, and for our school to be a place of excellence, inclusion and equity.
