Kyu Shin Kan was established in 1989, by Kyu Shin Kan's Dojo Cho; Peter Brown Shihan So Hombu. We were given the name and identity of Kyu Shin Kan (Seek, Mind, House) by Kazuo Chiba Shihan. On October 1st 2017 Kyu Shin Kan became afflicted to Omeikai under the direction of Toshiharu Sawada Shihan. Kyu Shin Kan Omeikai is recognized by the Aikikai Foundation of Japan (Hombu dojo).
