Maths & English Tuition

My name is Laura Obas and i'm the Instructor at the Kumon Woolwich Study Centre. My role is to support your child as he or she goes through their Kumon journey. I enjoy seeing students advance to work not yet covered in school and which they enjoy doing. I am deeply committed to my centre's educational mission to help each student reach and perform at their full potential. I am continually amazed at the work being done by the students at my centre. My interest to become a Kumon Instructor started when my son joined the programme at the age of four and immediately, I could notice the difference it made in his mastery of maths and English and his development in self-confidence and discipline. His success is achieved through hard work and I try to instil this in each of my students. I truly believe a great deal in the Kumon Method and the benefits it provides. Each student is important to me and I care not only about their academic advancement but about their overall well-being. My greatest achievements are enabling my students to gain self-confidence, allowing them to become independent self-learners and helping them to build strong study habits. I have a true passion for education and a desire to help children succeed in life.
