Loughton Music Academy

Loughton Music Academy (LMA) is a private school specialising in Music education in a variety of music styles and have been delivering bespoke and curriculum based music tuition since 2005. The school currently facilitates tuition for 550 students per term and also offers tuition in Languages & Art workshops. Most of our classes are after school hours, evenings and weekends at times that don’t conflict with academic school studies or regular working hours. However, we also have a growing community of adult learners during weekday times. All major music examination boards containing NQF and EQF credits are taught including ABRSM, IPVAEB, Orange learn, Trinity, LCM, Peembeck, IPMA, Rsl (formerly rockschool), RGT and new for 2021 the LMA’s own newly accredited Piano exams. For our Language classes we teach the UK curriculum upto and including G.C.S.E as well as conversational classes. As well as a dedicated Head of Music to help with goal setting and performances, we have 30 highly qualified and experienced teachers committed to building structured progression, enjoyment and successful learning for each of their students.
