About Longley Park Sixth Form College

Longley Park Sixth Form opened in September 2004. The building was designed by internationally renowned architects Ellis Williams, who also designed the Baltic Centre in Newcastle. The aim from the start has been to create a world-class environment for post-16 learning which will give you access to the very best facilities and equipment. The quality of the design and building earned the Royal Institute of British Architect’s award for the north of England in 2005. Longley Park Sixth Form is part of Brigantia Learning Trust. Café At the heart of the building is an imaginatively designed plaza with a café and social space. Open throughout the day, the café serves freshly prepared hot and cold food including vegetarian and halal options. Drinks and snacks are also available. Multi-Faith Room The Multi-Faith Room for staff and students of all faiths and none to use. The room is open for daily prayers and includes male and female sections. We also offer weekly Friday prayers in a bigger hall area and a monthly prayer timetable.
