Hi I'm Lauren, Designer, Maker and Founder of Lauren Holloway - Sustainable Bags & Accessories handmade in Bristol. My journey started in 2013 when I dug out a dusty vintage Singer sewing machine and taught myself how to make bags. I created my first collection from the bedroom of my flat, opened an Etsy shop and the rest is history! I love the whole process of designing and making - from coming up with the initial idea to handpicking each element from fabrics to hardware, focusing not only on functionality but on aesthetics and originality. My aim is to create beautiful products that are made with care and attention to detail with a focus on sustainable and ethical manufacturing. I have always been inspired by my travels around the globe, especially the beautiful patterns of Japan and the bold, colourful fabrics of Bali. My aim is to create sustainable, unique and practical bags that reflect your values and bring a little sunshine into your world! I really hope you enjoy using my products as much I enjoy designing and making them. You might have known me as Maybe Mabel in the past.
