Laughter Ball Yoga

Laughter Ball Yoga ® (LBY) is a low cost, fun, practical, innovative, effective physical fitness activity incorporating ‘stretch laugh play’, voluntary laughter, belly breathing and dynamic tension where participants simultaneously perform yoga poses on exercise balls. What we offer LBY is being provided as a physical activity in a clinical environment to patients, staff and carers on the wards at The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) to enhance people’s well being. We are working with organisations to help them run their own LBY classes. Since the outbreak of Covid-19 LBY is being well received ‘virtually’ on the National Autism Unit (NAU) at Bethlem Royal Hospital. Interested in how LBY can be offered in your organisation?
