Landlord Accreditation Scotland

Working with Scottish Local Authorities To meet our aim of promoting best practice to all of those involved in the private rented sector, LAS strives to put in place partnerships that can help us to do this and our Local Authority partnerships are invaluable. The partnerships help us communicate with landlords across the country, allowing them to seek information and assistance and importantly tell them about the recognition they can receive through accreditation. By working in partnership with LAS, Local Authorities can engage with private landlords, tailor the training topics delivered to meet local needs, and demonstrate to landlords that local authorities in Scotland recognise the important role of the private rented sector in providing accommodation for a diverse range of households.
