Learning to swim isn’t just about learning the different strokes but about learning to self rescue. We feel the self rescue aspect of swimming is so important that we make sure each pupil is taught this essential skill before learning to swim. Our lessons take place WITHOUT flotation equipment such as armbands, fins or life jackets. Our pupils are taught first and foremost how to rotate to float. This ensures you or your child are equipped with the survival skills required to safely enjoy the water. Once a child / adult achieves this they can then go on to become strong confident swimmers and strong confident individuals
