We are run by Parents and Carers who all have Children and Young people living with Autism. Our special needs professionals and Board of Trustees, with years of experience supporting children and young people living with Autism and their families, also have their own personal experiences relating to Autism. Advocacy and consultation services Active Play respite programme for children and young people living with a disability (ages 8 – 25 years) Training and workshops for parents/carers on autism related issues Sensitisation programmes addressing stigmatisation within BAME cultures and communities Signposting support for parents and carers and advice on how to navigate the system Support with EHC Plan, DLA, PiP and Deputyship applications Challenges with school/appropriate setting for your child/young person Information on autism friendly resources Ongoing telephone support Consultation with organisations Network support with other parents (including a parent/carer support group) Social gatherings with families
