• Do I need to know sewing or mending before I do the class?

  No. This is aimed at beginners and intermediates. All you need is an interest to learn.

• What should I bring with me to the class?

  1. A pair of jeans or jogging bottoms or jean jacket that needs mending 

  2. Or bring a garment that you want to embellish 

  3. Any fabrics you want to use as embellishment / applique

  4. Needle & Thread - embroidery threads if you have it 

  5. A pair of sharp scissors 

  A curated Mending kit can be purchased from us

• What if I don't have garments to repair? Can I still do the class?

  Yes. Absolutely. If you don't have a garment to repair, I will provide some sample fabric for you to practice on.

• What is the age range for this class?

  This class is aimed at adults. Please contact us if you would like a children's sewing class or a birthday party.

• Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

  Unfortunately, this venue isn't wheelchair accessible. There are 2 short sets of stairs to get to the room. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you want further info or any specific needs or concerns. I will do my best to accommodate you.

• What is the cancellation and refund policy?

  Cancellation notice period: Refunds: 28 days or more before the course start date - Full refund minus the fees15-27 days before the course start date - 50% refund minus the fees 14 days or less before the course start date We will try & fill the space. If we fill it, full refund minus fees.
