Collective Intelligence: Leveraging the "Swarm" on your Teams

Business agility is the ability of a business system to rapidly respond to change. It has been said that business agility is the outcome of organizational collective intelligence. How then do you best leverage collective intelligence? There are many tools and techniques you can use to do this. In this lecture you will be introduced to collective intelligence, collective consciousness, and the three types of crowd wisdom. From this foundational understanding we will then examine 6 simple techniques you can add to your agile tool box to best leverage collective intelligence in your organization.

Each professional development activity yields one PDU for one hour spent engaged in the activity. Some limitations apply and can be found in the Ways to Earn PDUs section that discusses PDU activities and associated policies.

Fractions of PDUs may also be reported. The smallest increment of a PDU that can be reported is 0.25. This means that if you spent 15 minutes participating in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.25 PDU. If you spend 30 minutes in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.50 PDU.
