Hoopoe Empowerment

Hoopoe Empowerment specialises in social justice education, training, and coaching, with a focus on gender and sexuality, race and racialised religion. Led by Dr Suhraiya Jivraj, she brings over fifteen years of experience in research-led learning and teaching as well as supervision and mentoring through her work in higher education. She also draws on her background in advocacy, campaigning and research for human rights and anti-discrimination organisations from the United Nations to NGOs and grass roots organisations.
