5. List steps to take should a needle stick injury occur
6. Describe standard precautions and controls for blood borne viruses
7. Discuss the differences for urine and vomit spillages
8. Practice in simulation the management of biohazard spillages
9. Explore effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies
Course Objectives:
1. Master Biohazard Safety Principles: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the risks associated with blood and body fluid spillages and the importance of proper management.
2. Instruct Effective Spillage Management: Acquire instructional skills to effectively educate others on preventing, containing, and cleaning up biohazardous spills.
