National Gang Academy

The NGA takes a blended learning approach of self-study, live interactions, recorded training modules, reading and scenario assignments, information sharing goals, expectations and opportunities, as well as professional and leadership development principles delivered through an instructor lead schedule that will help you to gain the knowledge necessary to become a gang specialist.

The National Gang Academy includes the 2-year Specialist Certification, which focuses specifically on the individual and provides documented evidence to the public, the courts and your colleagues that you have been examined by an independent professional organization and found to possess current competency in a specialized field signifying  mastery and strong level of knowledge.
