Description
Book a Furzie one-to-one day in your own choice of venue. All materials, wool and tools will be provided for a project of your own choosing.
Your needlefelting experience will start at 10am and finish around 4.30pm. All levels of experience are covered from beginner to highly experimental.
Michelle Hickman has many years of experience teaching the craft of needlefelt around the country and Crowood Press have recently published her book on needlefelting.

What is needlefelting?
Although it has its roots in a centuries old form of cloth making, needle-felting is a relatively new art, an off-shoot of industrial felt-making from the nineteenth century. Woollen fibres are bonded together using specially designed barbed needles to form a firm material which can be made into 3-D shapes.
Do I have to be artistic?
No! We use a wire armature frame in the models which immediately helps you with proportions. You will be gently guided through the entire process. Relax and enjoy - you only have yourself to please.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
All materials are included and tools loaned to you. It is important however, to bring a printed picture of the animal you would like to make.
