The anti-gravity effect of the inversions in aerial yoga help to decompress the spinal column. Inverting relieves back pain, disc and joint pain and sciatica by creating space and circulation between the vertebrae. This decreases inflammation and allows greater mobility in the spine. It can even make you taller! (Brilliant for basketball players, not so good for Limbo enthusiasts)
