Washington State Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator Certification Course - In-person

Description

Evergreen Safety Council’s nationally-recognized Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator (PEVO) certification is the most current, comprehensive, and cutting-edge PEVO program in the country. PEVO certification is required for operation in Washington, and many states have similar requirements.

NOTE: This is an IN-PERSON class. Please make sure you have made arrangements to physically attend this classroom training.

What you'll learn

This 8 hour certification class draws on the latest industry standards and best practices established at the state and federal levels. Through lectures, activities, quizzes, and discussion, students will be trained on:

Legal requirements of PEVOs and their vehicles

How to read and understand Washington State code pertaining to PEVOs

How to understand permits and plan for an oversize load move

How to pilot along a designated route

Hazards and emergency procedures

Requirements

You will need a valid Driver License from a U.S. state or Canadian province in order to earn your certification.
