Description

ILSi is a specialist Instructor course that gives Candidates the skills to become an Instructor in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS). These skills can then be used to teach fellow healthcare professionals at ILS and PILS courses.

Please note that this course is only open to those candidates who have been identified as having Instructor Potential (IP) by the RC(UK) following successful completion on provider courses.

ILSi teaches the knowledge and skills required to:

understand the nature of teaching and learning;

understand the needs of individual learners;

understand the awareness of the four domains of learning;

undertake the various types of teaching sessions on the provider courses.

ILSi must be taken within one year of the date of the provider course.

Information

This day-long course consists of lectures, skill stations and simulation teaching sessions.

A full course information letter will be sent to you, along with your manual approximately 4 weeks ahead of the course date. Please ensure you read this information fully prior to attending.
